![]() ![]() He talks down to his employees like they are children. He only cares about deadlines and not his employees' well being at all. He is very demanding, rude and condescending. I am only a part time employee and have another job and a life. My DM will call and email me demanding a response at all hours of the day and send emails all night long until I respond to him. Unprofessional Management: Management is unprofessional and poor. ![]() If you do not do the project correctly or in its entirety, you will not get paid at all, so you have to finish up on your own time if you go over what is allowed. Also they give you a set time to perform each project and will not pay for additional time on most projects when it usually does take additional time. I calculated my actual drive time and what they paid me for and it came out to. It is listed on my pay stubs but the amount per hour is not listed and it appears that they are paying 1 minute per mile. They say that you are paid mileage between stores and drive time between stores but the amount is very low and questionable. Driveline is untruthful about paying for gas mileage and drive time. If you had a full day of work, this can take about an hour of your own time, sometimes longer. They do not pay for printing costs but demand that all work orders, project instructions, and pogs be printed out. Low paying: The company pays a low hourly wage. This can cause push back from store managers and employees, who expect things done certain ways. It can be tough if you don't have experience, though and outside of the online training, you don't get much in store training at all. I've had years of experience with merchandising in various retail stores, that this job is fairly simple. Some are a breeze to work in, while others look like a tornado went through. Experience also varies from store to store. It's tough to get extra time, so I try to plot out workloads within stores where I can balance the time between everything & make sure all of the jobs are done as best as they can be. I've had 3 hour jobs only take 20 minutes, & 15 minute jobs take 2 hours. Tasks can be all over the place as far as the allotted time goes. You definitely have to be a little technologically savvy and self reliant to get by. Instructions and planograms can also be easily accessed on the site or in the app. Most are interactive and have a test at the end to make sure you understand what's expected. Most every task you're assigned has a related certification course that you can take on the website. You're usually alone and it can be tricky to get help or clarification where needed. This job definitely won't be for everyone. ![]()
